Characters story:

Goku was raised only briefly on Vegeta, shipped off to Earth at only a few days to a week old. There he was met by the one named Gohan, who raised him for the next few years. Eventually, the full moon caught his eye, and, his power increasing ten fold, he crushed his grandfather by mistake, living alone for the next ten or so years. Eventually a female met him, and through her his training led him to put the Red Ribbon Army to rest multiple times, ceasing Pilaf's dreams of a takeover, and defeating the Demon King Piccolo...Twice.

After four years, he fought against and defeated Vegeta. Nearly half a year later, on the planet Namek, he aided in the defeat of the tyrant Frieza, and from there began to ease up, letting his son Gohan take over the duties of saving and protecting Earth. He now spends most of his time training and eating, unintentionally keeping a pace ahead of his assumed friend, Vegeta. Unacknowledged by Goku is the fact that the other Saiyan would like his head--- or, perhaps, he simply chooses to overlook that in his rival.
